Girls of Virtue Scholarship
Qualifications:
Female students ages 6-15
Serious students seeking assistance with extracurricular activities, tutoring, etc.
Submit a letter stating how your child would benefit from receiving the scholarship and what program the funds would be applied towards.
The student must be enrolled in elementary, middle, or high school and on the honor roll and/or GPA of 3.0 or higher.
How to Apply:
Applications accepted between February 1st and June 1st

All letters/applications should be submitted by June 1st (postmarked date after that date will not be accepted).

Send a copy of paycheck for the last 30 days with copy of a current bill guardian’s name/address (with a date no later than 90 days from the date of application) and a copy of valid Driver’s License or State Issued ID.

Students receiving scholarships will be notified by mail and/or email.

Scholarships are awarded between August and December.
Guidelines for Financial Assistance
Overview

Within the available resources of Women of Virtue Transitional Foundation (WOVTF), the company will provide services for any youth who desires to participate regardless of ability to pay the full class tuition.

While we are a nonprofit organization, we raise money through donations and fundraising to help with disbursing assistance to those who need it.

We are committed to serving everyone regardless of their income, but we do expect participants to pay a fee based on their financial ability.

Assistance from WOVTF will be awarded to applicants based upon the available resources/funds. WOVTF strictly offers financial assistance for tuition for camps/dance/tutoring, etc.

The scholarship recipient will be determined between August and September.
Application Process

The results of the application's review will be available 30-45 business days from the receipt date of the letter of interest, documentation and need statement.

Assistance will be granted based on financial need.

Applicants can only apply for the program once in a 24-month timeframe
Expectations

Amount of scholarship will be between $100-$250 (based on available funds)

Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the school/program provider of choice in the form of a check
