Valentines Day Community Outreach

for our troops

 

 

Women of Virtue Transitional Foundation will be donating cards and care package items to the HUGS FOR SOLDIERS program based out of Duluth, Georgia for Valentine's Day. 

 

We are asking for your support to meet our goal of  200 Valentine's Day cards and letters for this amazing cause!

 

You may support this cause by doing one or more of the following: 

 

• Create or hand make cards

• Purchase cards

• Write a letter with encouraging words (which can be duplicated) 

• Purchase nonperishable food items (i.e. candy, cookies, chips, etc.)

• Make a donation to our organization to help purchase supplies

 

 

Donations are being accepted through Tuesday, January 24, 2017. This deadline will allow us time to receive and organize all cards and donations and hand-deliver them to Hugs for Soldiers.  

 

The packages will then be shipped to our troops by January 28, 2017 to be received or before Valentine's Day! 

 

You may mail or personally drop your donations off at our office at 2180 Satellite Blvd.,  Ste. 400, Duluth, Georgia 30096. 

 

When mailing your donations, please include a word of encouragement in your cards, please DO NOT seal the individual envelopes.

 

Bundle cards and send in a single large envelope or box! This is also a great opportunity for children to lend a helping hand in making a difference in the lives of those who fight for our country!
